You should give it a few months of use before you endorse it. Not saying you will or wont like it/use it, but I think more people care if it improves your game.

Randy, I saw your CTE method just months before Stan's DVD came out and what you were teaching was nothing like Stan's DVD. You never had two aim lines and if you do now then you copied that from Stan's DVD. You know it, I know it, all of your instructors know it, and I hope you are not now copying Stan's two aim line CTE method without giving him credit. Certainly there are many CTE methods but none like Stan's until he came out with his DVD.

Please dont forget how should get the credit Hal Houle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are absolutely right and Stan will be the first to agree as he had a tribute to Hal on his DVD. Just hate to see others try to piggyback onto Stan's DVD and pretend they were teaching the same thing before Stan's DVD came out.

Hal Houle was the originator of CTE but Stan refined CTE into an accurate and consistent method for aiming and alignment.

The other day one of my peers questioned the accuracy of CTE/Pro One and the need for it and set up three shots, one more difficult than the next. I did the manual, REFINED CTE VERSION by STAN SHUFFETT, instead of the Pro One method of aiming so that he could see the manual pivoting and talked my way through each shot, telling him exactly what I was doing. All three shots split the center of the pocket.

Even if you have no need of improving your aim (and some don't), CTE/Pro One is well worth learning and I can speak from personal experience, learning it won't hurt your pool game. Well, at least it didn't hurt mine.

Some people like my friend are old dogs who don't like the idea of learning how to do something that they already know how to do. Of course when he set up the same shots, "COLD", he was unable to pocket either of those shots on demand, the first time around. ;) (and he plays almost as well as I do)

Don't be so quick to try and knock others about teaching CTE. Stan's DVD is very recent. We have been talking about CTE on here for years.;) There are a number of "versions" of CTE out there, Stan's DVD happens to be his version, which also happens to be the complete version. The other versions all seem to be missing a little something, Stan filled in the gaps so to speak.

I never heard or studied CTE before so there was no preconceived notions when I learned Stan's version I have no doubts about it, put me in another gear.
