Don't understand?

Why will other rooms run tournaments on top of each other, so how will this affect this tournament? Mike posted this tournament in August so no reason to run on top of each other!
 
one tournament 100 miles east of shreveport has been running for 10 years on these dates, it was very unfortunate they split some days up.

The Obanian's event has moved the dates many times.

Mike Roberts always runs this event the week after White Diamonds.

Charlie knew and refused to move it. Mrs Obanian was ok with moving and left it up to Charlie. He decided to keep it the same. Mike even offered to pay to re-send the Flyers so the players could play in both. Charlie refused.

The players AND the events suffer when tournaments refuse to coordinate. I know many players from White Diamonds will be in Shreveport and so will the show.

When Texas events started coordinating, pool in Texas exploded.

I'm all for a ladies tournament, but it would be nice if it started on Saturday so it could end at a decent time on Sunday for all the out of town travelers! Just sayin' ..... :)

Either way, I think it's awesome y'all are putting on a ladies event! Seriously awesome!
