I think it is Ireland

--Jeff

Interesting...
It may be a bit of both as the crest is Scottish while the saying is Irish.

Beautiful work once again JB.
Seems like your shop has been very busy with all these gems you have been posting.

The customer chose what went on the case. From my brief trek through history courtesy of Google it appears that the Scots and Irish intermingled quite a bit. I would think that the shamrocks are more of an Irish symbol.

This looks like a phenomenal tribute to someone's family members and heritage! Great job on this one John!

Do you know why the intermingling of the shamrock and then the maple leaf? My only guess would be the customer is Canadian? (Not meant as a disparaging question...just me being "nosy". :embarrassed2:)

Awesome looking design and build John!!!

damn and i thought the guy had a sugartree cue and a mcdermott....o well....great case

The phrase is definitely Irish, and of Gaelic descent. I do believe the Gaelic name for Ireland itself is "Erin."

And being the good Irish-Catholic(;)) that I am, I love it! Of course, I am also half Italian. Maybe you could make me one. It could have a Leprechaun and Lucky Luciano beating the sh*t out of each other. It would be just like the holiday dinners we had when I was a kid!!

Unreal case. One of my favorites on your site... until mine is finished :D

distinct
don't forget Dean,he has a special cue and needs his matching case

I know that case

Thanks for posting the pics John. OK since people are asking.
I think the case should be called the Heritage, that's what my family
and I call it.

My family as far as we can track it goes back way back.
We Started in Scotland, Around 335 years ago the family moved to Ireland. 59 years ago my father and mother came to Canada.

Being Canadian I didn't want any flashy colours.LOL
Oh and John I love the case.
