All this talk about what's wrong with the pro game got me to thinking, and that ALWAYS gets me in trouble.
How about we discuss some wild and crazy dreams for pool (I said for pool guys).
Here's mine:
It's the AT&T vs. PEPSI Eight Ball Shootout.
Here's what you do: You get Aramith (or another ball manufacturer) to produce some 8 ball sets that have the AT&T logo for "solids" and then you have the Pepsi Logo for the "stripes". The eight ball remains the same.
You get them to fork over thousands of dollars and showcase these cool new balls on HD TV, tied together with some cool text messaging marketing ploys and whalla! you got yourself a cool event. Which set of balls will he pick? Text your answer to 8BALLROCKS.
After a few years everybody that can even hold a cue stick without hurting themselves becomes so wealthy from this great new game.:thumbup:
