While the tournament went well and the food/staff was great, I was really dissapointed with the action. All weekend long there was nothing going on. Which is crazy because Cape is known for betting it up. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

The problem this weekend as far as action went, there was so many players, had to use all the tables for tournament and had no tables to match up on, loser brackets played till 6:00 am sunday morning. then then finals went till 3:30 am monday morning. just hard to have that big of a tourny without a few more tables and have time to match up.

Was a great tourny and well ran by Danny and Evelyn again

I don't know if I totally agree here. Both 9 foot tables were available for use and the diamond barbox was too. So was the entire left side of the room after midnight. There was a ton of woofing and some bs highrolling but no one did anything. I waited over 12 hours between my first and second match in the tournament. That was brutal.

The FREE entry tourny was around 1150 first
The Players auction paid another 2,500 or so.

There was action.

Lutman was in action most of the weekend. Seemed to be donating a lot this time. Dirty Bob was in action from the time he hit the door. I played a few sets myself. The tall black man was a banking machine!!! He was in action too. More than once.

This was my first time in Cape G and The Billiard Center. I thought it was a hell of a tournament. They brought in Evelyn & Danny to run it, they brought me in to stream it, they rented a HUGE smoker to smoke meat for everyone to enjoy. Everyone got a FREE event T-shirt too!!

Kudos to Jim, Ricky and Eddie for producing a great event!!
