25th thru 28th for me. Can't wait.
That's what I"m doing as well, but I'm really going to miss going the first weekend.
I will be there, but when is up in the air. I'll probably come and go a couple times. It seems that the excitement isn't there, but I still love this event.
I'm going 22--25th. Why? Pool seminar on One-pocket, Banks, and 14.1. And reserved a seat at the HOF with Freddie The Beard. Doesn't get any better.

I think me and a few guys from the local pool hall will go and spectate a few different times. Thought about playing until my game turned off and went South for the winter. Not such a big deal for me since it is only 20 minutes away.
I do agree there seems to be a lack of interest about it.

I will be there for 2-3 days.....My consenses is alot of people just dont like the location, no Derby vibe......just another casino with a tournament....dosn't have the pazzaz of the Westin........
hey Fred, i finally got my transfer to tampa. the good news is that my start date is january 20, the bad news is that my new days off are mon, tues, wedi might go, but it would be on those days. hope to see ya there.

Good question Michael. I'll probably send out my yearly primer on it just before the Derby.
We'll revert back to how it was in the first few years of the Louis Roberts Award where there was no visibility by the internet posters (other than those who attend). And without visibility, the bickering grows louder.

Several of us will be in Nashville, then on to DCC for the duration.............. If my old body can take it that long......about 19 days on the road!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

No lack of excitement here Freddie! I haven't missed one yet and don't plan to as long as I'm on the right side of the dirt. I do wish they'd find a better place to have it. I hate casinos and won't stay on premises so I have the 10 minute drive from town, but that's not much longer than it takes to walk from the Horseshoe hotel to the tournament area anyway.

I plan on attending as well. I do have to say I hate the new location. My pool wish would be for someone to build a building for the event to be held in every year. I know keep dreaming, but just think of the returning investment it could be. Could also be used for other tournaments as well through out the year.
