i know. but you could see the people on the left in the last match not clapping. you can also see the racker waving his hands in the air for an applause.

i'm amazed by this constant clapping after every shot.
i usually don't post a complaint - but this is simply amazing.

i know i can turn off the audio - but i do like hearing the cue strike, pocketing sounds, and some of the commentary.

this behavior totally ruins the enjoyment of watching these matches.

at this point i think i would take the clapping over the male commentator. he is just awful.

While it certainly was nice to see pool on tv, it is a little outrageous to have them clapping at someone making a straight in shot from 1 foot away. Even worse, clapping when they made a shot but the cue ball hadn't stopped yet and they hooked themselves. I really laughed when I was watching The texax Tornado shooting a routine seven ball and hearing the commentator say "that's just vivian's exceptional shotmaking right there"..... lmao Espn Truly has no clue about pool.

They are not told to clap after every shot at least not in the 40 or so TV matches ive been to. They are asked to show enthusiasm.
