Georgia pool player roll call room and thread....

Things are going well just east of Atlanta in Loganville, Monroe, Conyers, Winder, and Athens.

Sadly, no future 6 Pocket is available due to me being transferred to Arlington, VA at end of this Feb. No one to take over the league here or hold 6 Pocket tourneys.

When you get settled in Arlington, make the drive out Rt7 to First Break Cafe. It's worth the trip.

Checking in...

When I'm at home I like to play at Mr. Cues II, the Independent, or Twain's. Every once in a while I'll make the trek out to Marietta. I wish we had more (read: any) Diamond tables in the ATL...

Anyone know a player in Ga. named Scott Mann? He should be in his late 40's now.
He's and old friend and real nice guy who lived in La. In the early to mid 90's.
I'm not sure what area, but maybe stone mnt.I haven't heard from him in years and would like to get in contact with him?

Thanks
Mike L.

I've lived in Rome for about 2 1/2 years and travel to Marietta or Chattanooga when I actually get a weekend off. Coming from Raleigh, NC (where there are over 10 rooms within 30 minutes) was a big change. I certainly wouldn't call myself a good player but I do get lucky on occasion. Not many places to shoot on a 9 footer around Rome, unfortunately.

Mark, you have to go to Mr. Cues II in ATL area!

Yes! He plays in our league in Newnan and in the Master's league in Villa Rica. He and I are putting together another Master's team to play in north GA. Scott's a good guy. PM me with your info and I'll send it to him.

Yeah I've been meaning to try out Classic for a while now, just never made the trip yet. Funny thing is I think it might be closer to me than Mr. Cues is. I'll be laying low on Sundays until we get a 2 or 3 on our team that will allow me to play and keep us under the dreaded "23". Stupid handicaps...

Later,

Brian

Hey BM, how bad does a player have to be to get on your team?
