I am looking to buy spots for South West Cues. I will pay a premium for your spot in line. Looking for cues coming up in the next 0-6 months. The cue must not have been started, as I want to pick the wood selection and specs.
Payment and details to be worked out.
Please email me at ga9ball@gmail.com

Thank you,
Greg

I do have few, but when you really cut in line you have to struggle out the design, and there's quite some restriction to it, thats my only problem without 10 years wait, good luck for the spot hunting

Matty, what's a little struggle when it comes to getting a SOUTH WEST "The Best". I will email you!

The sign of having a first class rep as a cue maker......
....is someone buying a spot in the line-up.

South West is awesome

Thank you ( jaycast16) and (PT109) . Still want to buy a couple more cues.

The wait is 10 years?! So I can message them now or call them and say put me on the list and in 10 years they will call back and ask me to pick woods. Do you pay the price of the SW then or now? Just curious how it works.

A long time ago, the price was sealed when you placed the order...even though no money passed hands at the time.

In more recent years, I think the early 2000's, Laurie made the decision that the price of the cue would be determined upon the current market price of the cue at the time of construction. This was due to the fact that SW was watching a huge amount of secondary market money being made on cues when SW itself (all 3-4 of them) were struggling.

Today, you can place an order with SW (no money changes hands). In around 10 years or so, assuming that all parties are still kicking and into pool, SW will call you up prior to beginning construction and to finalize what you want in your cue, and you will place a deposit, approximately 50% of the current market value of the cue. In around 6 months time, you will receive the cue (after paying the remaining 50% of current market value).

I would say that is very accurate ( Bamacues), especially the part about around and kickin- lol.

Still looking!!!! Maybe you do not play anymore, or have moved to a bigger cue, or a lesser cue due to economy!
I will pay a premium for your spot in line, or trade you a cue plus cash, or the other way around.
I still would need to pick the specs, and wood combinations!
Thank you,
Greg
