Thsi will probably raise a fuss with some people,
but i really dont care.
i have been apart of az for 3 or 4 years i think.
i got on here cause i love pool cues
I bought a couple on here, and sold a couple,
I have made some friends, and some good deals.
I did have a bad deal a while ago, that involved a terrible built cue, with many flaws, and cracks, and joint problems.
I waited a long while and tried to get the problem solved with the maker of the cue
that got nowhere
So i thought i should post on az and describe my issue and let others know to not invest there money into this guys cues.
4 or 5 people piped up with the same issues from this guy
So what happens, he gets a ton of sympathy from other people and lots of good rep, and then they start siding with him.
I think this is crap, i think that this website has way to many people without a backbone.
I just read athread that a guy was trying to sell some cues and he still hasnt settled with other people on there deals, So there are people trying to help this guy out with advice and suggestions.
How about, you dont buy from him and make a point to let others know about his faults so others dont get burned.

i dont care about the rep points, i just think people should watch out for others and be honest. There is no reason that someone should get rewarded for piss poor people skills, business skills, and craftmanship, and dishonesty.
just a small vent session
 
What happens sometime is someone shares a bad experience and only one side is heard. Also, the person may have friends or customers who have had nothing but good dealings so naturally they come to his aid.

I don't know about the particular situation you are referring to, or who the seller was. I don't know if both sides got heard in the thread either. But nonetheless, as a member here I thank you for sharing your experience and hopefully saving some others from a bad one. You share your side, others share theirs, and ultimately what anyone does with that information is out of your hands.

i do respect what you have said,
it was a odd scenario, and i wont bring the past up, but i have seen it happen many times that something bad happens and the bad one doesnt get held acountable for it, and it isnormally a finance thing, were one pays and the other doesnt ship.
I think that is crap and should be looked very poorly upon,
I already have to pay for deadbeats out of my paycheck, why let others take our money,
 
There have been people that propose to me that they should have some "agvantage" in a deal because of their iTrader being high and mine being low.

Now that I am more familiar with the matter such a proposition makes me chuckle. One will meet me on even ground or not at all. I have significantly more deals under my belt here than my iTrader would indicate. And the one person that soured me on the iTrader is a flat out liar with a strong iTrader.




Lastly, there is this cryptic thread. Unless one happens to remember what it is about it is apparently a secret. So once again dastardly things are hidden. So....

To the OP: Name the cue maker. Link to the thread and or threads in question.

Disagree Chopdoc. Poster said had bad deal, done and over with. He has moved on. His only reason for sharing is because he sees this same thing happening year after year. Nothing to do with his one bad case. He is showing the situation occurs too frequently and gets covered up over period of time.

If seen in that light then I would agree with you.

Focus on the bigger picture of the general problem rather than beat a dead horse.
