After seeing another post on here about a odd cue control ,,it reminded me of this.
This happened in a major tournament. I seen it,,but was not playing the match.
One guy locked the cue on the opponents ball and it(OB) was very close to the rail.
The guy put his cue tip on the table just under the edge of the cue,,,and flicked it upward,,hitting the cue on the way up and drove the OB into the rail.
The OB did hit the rail,,,barely,,,and they just went on from there as a good hit.
I have never seen anything like it before and not sure if it a legal hit or not. I would hope NOT,,,because it looks soooo stupid .lol
