Open Offer to Danny Harriman and John Schmidt from TAR

can't believe they not replied and agreed to this already, great offer for them, how can you refuse not to play.. Tar pushing the boundaries once again.

^I agree with those that said John would be up for this, and Danny wont. Pool egos are a strange thing Lee (trying to answer your question) :)

THANKS AGAIN TO TAR!!!!!!!!

i agree sir they are... But imo Danny don't play he got little balls and needs to grow some

I skipped the Oscar/Raj match but Justin you can count on my PPV dollars if you can get John and Danny in the box... As long as they are mic'ed and The infamous ferrule splitting laser is deemed acceptable equipment.....

OHHH and I think John should come in leading that proverbial goat on a leash behind him just in case.......

Ha. I am with you. Anybody who turns down an offer to make some free money to play pool, OR if you lose, STILL make some free money to play pool, aint a pool player as far as i'm concerned :)

Danny vs John III. If I say it out load three times I would get hard. I'm going to Vegas at the end of the month. Looks like I'll be going back again sooner than I thought.

I like JoeyA but I really don't care for his commentary at all. Fly JoeyA in but don't let him on the mic! JoeyA is a better writer than commentator.

No meant to be offensive, just my listening opinion!

Ditto for me ... Some of the matches I've seen were tough 'cause I wanted to listen to only 1 out of 2 people talking on the mike. Should I go on mute or bear it, mute or bear it ...

Justin, I know you're not really looking for suggestions on the format here, but I'll comment anyway (possibly for the future).

Your format is best 2 out of 3 long sets, one in each discipline. So that offers the prospect that we spectators will not see them play any 10-ball at all.

It seems like for an all-around match, they should play all 3 games. So how about best 3 out of 5 sets or best 4 out of 7 sets over the same three days, with each set being shorter but with all 3 disciplines guaranteed to be played?

Just a thought. I'll be in for what you proposed, as well.

Put me down..

.. for a complete set of DVDs:poke:

but the PPV sounds ok also...

I'm open to something like that. I just don't know exactly how to make it work. Plus I wanted to keep it as close to the original format as possible and the way I put in the OP seems to be the simplest way but I agree there is a possibility the 10 ball wont happen if it goes down like that.

We are certainly open to suggestions. One of the benefits of putting up all the money is we have a say in the format. If anyone has any ideas I would like to hear them.

Great thinking, it's not really an all around match if they only get to play two disciplines.
