I feel for ya! Except for the times I go out to Vegas for the BCAPL Nationals, the only time I play early in the morning is when I've been up all night. Go to bed early enough to get rest is all I can suggest. Also, if you are able, practice early mornings in preparation of these matches.

No magic fix for no sleep........

Unfortuanately this is how these tournys have to be run because of not enough time.

Just get to bed and do the best you can do.

I need to do a little cardio workout for about 5 to 10 minutes to get the blood and brain going again.

After your first match just sit somewhere and close your eyes. If possible go back to the room.

At one tourny at the Riv my whole team sat side by side with their eyes closed for about 15 minutes. we did that between all our matches. We didn't win the thing but it sure helped us for the energy. A couple of the guys thought it was stupid but latter on said they actually got some rest by doing this. Kind of like meditating.

If you practice alot when your dead tired this will also help you prepare for a situation like this.

No qiuck fix though.

good Luck geno.......

Try getting up a bit earlier than you normally would for your match and doing some cardio or some sort. The time spent getting sweaty can also be used to help you to visualize winning and frame moments in time where u have felt confident. Then you can try to draw from that mental imaging when your actually in the match. All these stuff is easy to write about and hard to actually do, much like the game itself.
