If I can get a commitment or two for a cue I cud deliver it during the CC TOURNY early AUG......but you must act now not a month from now.

$1000 with three shafts, standard EURO CUE with WOOD JOINT, butt to be choosen by me based on your specs, could be VERY FANCY. Am essentially charging for the shafts on these cues and giving you the butt, the more I like you the fancier the butt.......wanna see some pictures of what you might get if you send me the THOU by 15 MAY 2012.....
THEN KEEP THIS POST ALIVE......I need to get 2 orders to pay for this trip which.....OH AND I AM PLAYING IF Charlie Brown lets me violate the dress code and play in white socks and sandels for medical reasons.

Dennis,

I know that you don't like donating cues..BUT....Michael Kang runs a wonderful tournament each year...and usually does not break even.

If you and some of your cue maker friends could help Michael this August....it would be much appreciated.

I have been wanting a DD 3c cue for awhile, 3 shafts and one of DD's full splice cues could be in my future...(Dennis I am partial to Rosewood). Im thinking hard about it...lets see some pics though

Dennis, I spoke to you at SBE and am serious about a carom cue, but need to at least pick it out from a pic, so post or pm me some pics of various cues, I will pick one and send you the money, I will also be in NY in aug, so lets do this. long butterfly splices of yours are nice, like the ones in the cue you did for Mazin.

Am not set up to take good pictues at present but will try to take some rough shots in a view days.....be patient as I move slowly these days :frown:
 
If you decide to convert one of those holly butterfly pool cues to carom joints, let me know, I might get interested.....

HERE ARE THE PICS AND HERE IS THE DEAL.....$500 UP FRONT the balance due, $500 at time of delivery. Three shafts EURO taper, oversize with tip only no ferrule [12.25-12.5mm] longer than you want it but that should not be a problem that you will have to solve at your end. the name JOE BANKS would come to mind if you are in NYC.

These are what I call 5 piece butterflys. Look at the end picture and you will see the square core of maple which runs the whole length of the cue. Each cue has four pieces of very nice wood laminated to the maple core.
From left to right the woods are: BUBINGA/BUBINGA/HONOURUS ROSEWOOD/IROYKO/PADUAK/COCOBOLO. The rear of the butt will have just some simple ring work on it unless you want to upgrade and at some inlays at $20 an inlay. If you are serious we need to alk over the phone. Once a cue has gotten to the pool cue size that is where it will end its life. One of those cues has been sold so that is a moot point. Have some other holly butterfly butts still oversize and will be posting pictures soon on FACEBOOK under Dieckman Cues. Please go there and check what I have posted already. Give me a call some time and we will chit chat.
