Turning knobs for Ultimate

Getting to know my Ultimate Cue Maker with Taper attachment a little better. I had two questions. 1. With the Hex heads has anyone made 3/16 allen shortys and super glued them in with like a joit protector end to give them hand turning knobs? 2. Has anyone made a quick change tool post that fits?

I am very happy so far but like everyone else I am looking to make some changes to make it easier for how I do things.

Thanks

Cool, think I will buy a bunch of them and sell them on ebay to the rest of us rookies.

If You have a local ace hardware, then You may want to check around the nut and bolt bins there. I've found stuff like that at My local store before. I have also made them from threaded rod and Delrin. The threads in the Delrin usually hold them for me without the need for glue if I don't thread It too loosely.

Woodcraft, if there is one near you, also has an assortment of knobs.
