It looks like it might be a Brunswick Model 30. I would be interested in buying it if the price is right. PM me a price if you are interested in selling it.

Partner the cue looks like it could be a Brunswick Model 30, do to the Mother Of Pearl wedge it appears it was manufactured as a Trophy Cue. However, not all of these cues were made by Brunswick, if the cue doesn't have a visible Brunswick Label it could have been made by one of the following companies also.

1 - Oliver Briggs - There is little known about this company they were making Pool cues from around 1910 until ?

2 - Rieper Manufacturing Company - This company made many cues similar to cues produced by Brunswick. They also made a similar Model 30 and a similar model 360 to the Brunswick cues, however, the quality of their work was superior to cue made by Brunswick. The problem is that it will take an expert to identify the cue as a Rieper cue. Rieper cues are the most sought after brand of cue made from around 1910 to 1930. If the cue is a Rieper it will bring a great deal more than a Brunswick cue of like style.

I will do a little more research and see if I can find any additional information in some of the old catalogs I have. Anyway you look at it this is a very desirable and rare cue that appears to be in great condition, I think you have found a real gem that is worth a modest amount of money.

Do I see a "B" stamped on the cue in the first picture? Would that be for Brunswick? Or maybe it's an 8. No, on second look the top of the "B" has a little tail on it.

Pretty sure it's a "B", there is a 21 stamped up a little higher....cant seem to find anything about the model 30 anywhere...

Interesting cue for sure. It certainly looks to be a Brunswick model 30. I had one similar to this cue that also had the large "B" stamped into the lower butt sleeve, and it did not have a Brunswick label.

Very nice find!!

John

I think the B in the butt of this cue stands for Badass!!!!:D Seriously though it is not uncommon to find markings in the bottom of old cues. People often put their intials in their cues, I can't evem tell you how many cues I have seen with similar markings on them.

Would you take a close up picture of the bottom of the cue, please include the B and also the bottom of the cues bumper.

Thank Craig

Hey guys, has anyone bought or sold a similar cue? or seen a recent sale of such? please post or pm your findings.....
