i'd like to see more 4pt Gus's in this thread that are not just 4 point 4 veneer. fancy 4pt. i think the age of this cue makes it attrictve too. I havent been this pumped up about a Gus since I got my 8pt. Gus 5 years ago

Since you asked, and it also has the double black veneers and a little curl to the maple front ......

Spectacular cues in this thread, every one of them. I'll get some pics of my 4 point Gus and post when I get a chance. Thanks to everyone who has shared these special cues.

Double black, mahogany, maple cues by Gus

Erics, I own one, the one I posted that we sold, I wrote a certificate of authenticity for one, and we sold two others. One of those two is currently on another website for sale.

Out of all those cues, only one has silver rings at the joint and all the rest are ebony/maple block.

I think I rememer seeing 2 others also with maple/ebony stitch. I think its fair to say maybe there are 12-14 of this combination.

JV

edit: Found another in the files.. a barbell cue.. also stitch joint...

I went digging into the vault today, i shot pics of a Gus everyone(guys who been around a few years) will recognize, I havent seen pics of it online in years, so i'm gonna let those pics out, they will be posted today. Its the fanciest Gus 4 pt cue I own.

I also came across a great double black veneer Gus with a smooth leather wrap I own, I have 3 double blk veneer gus's. the one with the smooth wrap had yellow/green veneers that faded over time, i'm sure they are not the color they were when it was new, wow its sharp. I shot pics of it too-they came out ok. i might post them, not sure yet.:scratchhead:

Beautiful cue for sure....very nice. I've got two Gus double black veneer cues; one has the original linen wrap and the other the original leather.
No inlays in the butt sleeve though.

Call me crazy, but I would play with this gem every day also. Very nice, Eric.

thanks for sharing

Eric, thanks for sharing these magnificent cues. It is like seeing a wonderful pieces of art from one of the masters. In this case, pick your favorite artist or cue. Both of these cues are magnificent and leave me speechless. I would love to see you collection. I am beginning to think I have kindling wood, :). Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
All the best,
Phil
