I am meeting my brother in Savannah this weekend. Any recommendations on a place to play Sunday / Monday in the historic district?

Googled B&B Billiards & The Wormhole but was looking for some local knowledge.

Thanks

Joel

Southside billiards in Savannah has some diamond tables, a 10 foot snooker table and 2 ten foot heated carom tables. They also make a good sandwich.

Great room great people.

Cheers,
Marcus

Hey Minor,
I-10 runs through New Orleans, Louisiana along with I-610. Now are you anywhere near us? Of course along I-10 could be anywhere! I love it in Savannah, Georgia.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

I am everywhere and nowhere. I am coming to Airline Highway just above Causeway in late june I hear there is a good room there and some really good motels.;) Savannah is a beautiful city cut out of the same mold as uptown new orleans.

Keith Josey is in Savannah. He is one cue maker who's work I am very interested in. If I were going there I would make it a point to contact him ahead of time to see about a visit to his shop. You could also ask him about the local pool rooms.

Southside

Southside Billiards usually has a tournament on Sunday afternoons starting about 2pm. The phone number is 1-912-925-5398 if you want to check in advance.
The owner Joe is one of the best guys you will ever meet.
Overall this pool hall has a nice friendly atmosphere.

I worked in Savannah in the early 80s. I used to sit on the balcony of my hotel room and whittle sticks while watching the rain after a day at work.

Now I know the reason for the song, Rainy Night in Georgia.
Love to visit again.
