Since there's a million threads about the flake-out legend air-barreling the DYD cue, I decided to create this thread to call out *whoever that cuemaker's name was* who made a big stink about how he wanted to make amends and donate a cue to the player of *our* choice.
After deep debate, we all thought Robley should receive the cue. What pisses me off with this particular situation is that the cue maker basically fell on the sword saying how he screwed a lot of people over in the past and wanted to donate a cue for good-will in moving forward. Now, 6 mos later the guy is MIA. Unreal.
Before anyone chirps about -- "Did you call the guy to ask him the status before posting this thread," listen up>>
If you're going to come on here and donate "a cue" for "good will" because you were a lame-duck cue maker in the past----- BUILD the damn thing and THEN ask who you should donate it to. If you're so bad at follow-through that actions like that buried you in the past, don't you think you should 100% fix that problem (i.e. making the frickin' cue) before you even chirp about it online?
Gimme a break.
We should make a good action/bad action CUEMAKER LIST. Who cares how popular a cuemaker is, if they're bad action here on azb, I wouldn't wipe my butt with one of their cues. I know a few "legend" cue makers (not BS-- but other top guys) who pull scumbag moves too. If you call them out here, the mob starts attacking the victim when the victim only wanted "business as usual, and as expected."
These cuemakers have DIVA attitudes and the fact is they're just hacks - both professionally and morally.
