Hello friends, im still newbie in pool, but i always wanted to be pro in pool, so there it is, my really problem, i cant really shoot the ball straight, although when the pre shoot is straight already, but when i shoot, sometimes it's not straight / not goes the way i wannt it to be. So there is it, i dont have the table at my home, could you guys suggest me some drill at home to set my shoot straight and controlable ? Thanks alot

Chances are the fundamentals is all wrong, like how I started...

1) You can find a coach that coaches pool,
2) Read books and learn the fundamentals of alignment, stance, bridge, stroke and etc.
3) Watch videos
4) Record videos of yourself to analyze it yourself or post it here.

Once you got the fundamentals right, the stroke will improve...

Just me 2c

I already do much no 2 and 3 . But still never find a coach, just a friend that we're learning to play together. Also still havent try to record it, maybe next time i will try to record it then. Also, any chance there's a drill to do at home ? :o

If you have a table at home and a cue, broom handle etc. You can place a straight line of tape, string etc. on the table and practice taking your cue back, having a grip that isn't too tight (think cradle the cue). Practice stroking down the line on your table. Notice if your tip moves to the left or right of that thin line. Perhaps you can sense if your grip is tightening up and pulling the cue off line. Do the motions slowly so you can feel what your arm is doing. This may give you some practice but ultimately you're going to have to take it to a real pool table and practice.

Niceee thanks anyone
So here it's, i improved alot after do cue stroke toward empty water bottle until the tip get it there, do it simultaneously until i believe it's straight get in there, also when pre shoot, i get the tip really near the cue ball and shoot, wonderful im really improve alot
But now ive problem with that ghost ball lol, when i see it on the top i could see the contact point where the cue ball should go, but when i go down to shoot, that ghost ball seem like misplace and usually vanish from my sight haha, anyone could help this ?

Thanks, ill try it tomorrow

xiao.wend...I know english is not your native language, but the bottle drill is a poor way to practice...because it encourages elbow dropping. A pendulum stroke will not work with this drill, which is why we don't recommend it.
