in the first rack SVB missed an easy 6 and found himself watching a masterclass from chang. Shanes next shot came at 7-0. Shane tried to pull back at 10-4 but after seeing chang miss a straight 3, he himself missed a ordinary 6. Chang ran out the next 2 racks. After the match he admitted that there was nothing he could've done the guy played lights out.
The match that I'm sure most people on here would've loved to see was the semis between mika and shane. Shane obviously winning that (11-10) but it was a great game to watch. It had a bit of everything. Controversy where mika was first given a warning for throwing his chalk to the chair and then his second warning which resulted in a BIH for throwing his cue on to the table after the missed shot. It also had some very good safety play and both players ran 5 packs. Truely quality stuff!
How is it possible to miss in game one and your next shot be when it's 7-0
They are playing alternate break, aren't they?
Yeah it's pretty hard to imagine if it was alternate break. But I think it was winner break because it was mentioned that mika and Shane both ran 5 packs in their match.
SVB made it to the finals in the dubai open. Here's his Facebook status. He really is a class act, doesn't make excuses when he loses. The player he lost to is Chang, Yu Lung.
It was amazing to see what this guy can do. Kinda scary to think that he wasnt selected for the chinese tapei team for the world team championships.
They are probably sending their second teir to get them some experience playing in world class events and beating everyone else in the world.
Chang Jung Lin, Fu Che Wei, and Ko Pin Yi are all champions in their own right, just as good and probably more famous than Chang Yu Lung. Calling them second tier would be like calling Bustamante, Orcullo, and Biado second tier.
