Why do some cues feel like they were assembled

These are great comments. I spend a lot of money testing hits, I need to find a way to get payed for testing,lol. Some cues, not very many, you can put in someones hand, and they don't even need to hit a ball, the cue speaks to them, or reads their mind. Showman is one, Black Boar and Gina also. Once you play with a cue that feels perfect, and makes straight in long shots, without a lot of work or thought, you have a great cue. If a cue kicks, or whips, you have junk,lol. I like a stiff hit, all the way through the stroke. Here are the cues that seem real to me. Showman, Paul Mottey, James White, Jensen, Schick, Ginacue, Richard Black, Black Boar. Just some off the top of my head, that played great effortless.

A tip can make all the difference. I bought a cue that sounded like breaking glass when I hit with it. The kind of sound/feel that causes chills to run up and down your spine. After tip replacement the sound went away.

My least favorite cue sound has to be fiberglass cuetec with a hard tip.

It goes like this:
"TINKKK. TINK. TINKKK."

On a miscue: "TANK-KCHICK"

Or a screw on tip, I had a cheapy 8 dollar cue with one, I called it Tinkerbell. One of my ex lovers still has it. The ferrule and tip always came off,lol. It was a great hussle, to pull it off and let it roll on the table. Fun stuff.
