I thought it might be a good idea to take a poll to see who would be interested in purchasing DVDs of the 2012 14.1 World Tournament. Of course price would be a deciding factor, but this point of this poll is really to indicate to Dragon Promotions our interest in buying DVDs.

Bumping this thread While the interest is high !!!

You all know what my vote is !

Anybody else want to show their interest in DVDs? This thread is attempting to motivate DP to make them for us.

Hi,
There was a chalk board at Carom with a list of matches that were available on DVD for purchase. I just glanced at it, but the take away was> they will be available.... I think the price was $10 per match. Mail order after the fact may be handled differently.

I would think the finals would sell big time. I had to sweat the entire match by receiving text"-). I cannot wait to watch it on DVD. I sure hope they make the tournament matches available!!!

I sent an email to Ira Lee to let me know when they would be available.

I think he will get them out as soon as he can.

YAY, Let me know Dennis!!! This will fit nicely in my 14.1 collection"-)

Mark: He told me he is working on them.

text me your email and I will add you to my straight pool email list. I email links to videos, and other news of interest to Straight Pool Fanatics.

Count me in also. I was talking to another player who has an extensive dvd collection of 14,1 and said he likes the dvd's as he goes back and forth thru the play and patterns to analyze them to improve his game.

DVDs are available Now!

Thank you for making DVDs of this great event. I'm sure you'll sell a lot.

Can you please provide some details?

How much are they?
How many DVDs are included?
Which matches appear on the DVDs?
Can individual DVDs be purchased or do they have to be purchased as a set?
How can we order them?

Eagerly awaiting . . . Jim

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for not checking the forum these last few days. I guess you can say that I've been busy - making DVDs. :)

I'll be posting more information about where to get them very soon.
There will be packages and discounts made available.

Enjoy!

DVDs are forthcoming. They will be $9.99 per disc.

Ira: So the video on demand is good for 48 hours at a very reasonable $2.99? I take it these videos are not downloadable. If not, I think I will wait for the dvds.

Looks like a nice bunch of games.
