I picked one up in a package deal a while back and WOW!!!! Still cant get over this thing! First it crushes racks!!!! And the wood/points/ring work etc are great! I dont even use my Gilbert J/B much anymore! That might sound funny but this Panther is crazy good. If you get a chance to pick one up or try one do it. There around $150 new. Just wondering if im the only one who uses one........?

I owned one before but got rid of it on a trade deal, it crushed the racks. Funny you mention it but I have a Kaiser which has the wood pin and is basically the same as the Panther coming today, I wanted the Panther but it was out of stock.

Nice quality cocobola. I like them so much I have around 10 of them. I'd gladly sell them for $80 shipped anywhere in the USA.

With the wood joint you need a slightly longer case...or not.

That is the only draw back to them is most cases will not close.

I got my Kaiser yesterday and took it out and was crushing the rack with it, same thing as the Panther with the big wood pin. I did think the fit/finish of the Panther was a little better though.

That was what caught me off guard when i first got it! The fit and finish dare i say borders on very nice custom work! I have had some lesser known custom cues that were not as nice as my "Cheap" Panther!!! Crazy i know. Then when i started playing with it that night i became a fan. I going to look up the Kaiser and take a look...
