Beware of the grammar Nazi's what?
Oh you mean "grammar Nazis."

Welcome to the Zoo. Beware of the Grammar Nazi's.
I guess I am just being cynical but for a first post, I think this guy is playing us well.
You're very welcome Jay, I think you should ask our friend in the Philippines of the true causes of why Taiwanese don't want to travel to the states for big tournaments and post it here, I believe that should be quite interesting to know for the members. But I once talked to Gallego in the then San Miguel tour here in Kaohsiung and he told me that Taiwanese players don't get along with the U.S. players, Nor the pool-associated organizations too. So which side should I take? Anyway, I don't know if that plays a role, but if it does, then I think the Taiwanese players aren't quite clever. They should go and try their luck for the big bucks, I have to believe that luck is an important factor in 9 ball cause many players from different nations told me that, "in 9 ball, if you're lucky you win". And if the Japanese can go there with their English then why can't the Taiwanese? Japanese only know from A-J according to my knowledge. But I do know that Taiwanese fans truly dislike Earl for sure, they call him "shitrickland" in the forums... And what does "imo" stand for?
However, I think there should be a major tournament staged here in Taiwan annually just like before. For the ladies every year is a success as the Amway Cup, many people watch through TV or attend the event, the mayor will be there for the finals too. I think the then World Pool Championship is now the World 10 ball in Philippines? And if that's the case then it's all Luke Riches' fault, he was probably pissed that in 2005 the venue sucks so bad in Kaohsiung. The place was dirty, foods sucked, the electricity jumped Twice during the matches. Even the results were bogus as Efren got knocked out in the group round, both Earl and Archer and Yang got knocked out in the round of 64, and a 15 year old won the tournament. But someone close to Luke please tell him that we do have a much better venue owned by the government here in Kaohsiung and it's definitely available for international pool tournaments. In fact, Taiwan's organizers knew they had made a mistake too as they should never chosen that place to begin with. And now they have to pay a price and for some reasons I think I got dragged down too... I want to meet the players and watch high level matches and meet Luke himself man!
Ok, I'll press "enter" every once in a while since you requested...
And klong bro, it's nice to know that you go to Johnny's place and next time you see him please tell him that the "U.S. power" Taiwanese fan says hi, thanks. Actually I told Lee the same thing, that if he needs a translator just call me and pay for my costs and I'll do it. Except that I'll take him to Taco Bell and White castle. Can you believe neither of them exist in Taiwan? Man, I miss some of the American foods man...
And yes I know how she thinks of my looks. Just above average is what she says but she doesn't care too much about looks. She thinks that I will take care of her, be a responsible family man and all that, and there's a "feeling" that she can't describe, I guess that's it.
BTW I don't know how to post a picture on the internet, but trust me she's just average looking with a body not very sexy either.
I haven't played pool in about 15 years, and she can tolerate a lot more than that. My personaltiy is closer to the American side and both my boss and gf said I must change that in order to fully adapt to Taiwanese environment and culture, also be more welcomed by Taiwanese people. I don't quite get the term "I'm real", can you elaborate that?

Aw man, you get married to a person because of what is in their heart and yours, not how good looking they are.
Maybe she is posting on another forum.
"Should I marry this guy, he is nice but he has a little wee wee". How would that make you feel?
Do her a favor and set her free.
BTW, welcome to the forums.
Jay and Gary
Well, lets put it this way why Filipinos have the luxury to go to US to play
1. they all have sponsors/manager who pay for their ticket, hotels and pocket money, in return the sponsors/manager gets 30% cut of their winnings less all expenses. if the player losses then loss for the sponsor/manager. its not always win-win situation for every sponsor/manager.
2. unlike most of the players from other country, they pay for their own plane fare, hotels and allowances, pressure is in them to at least place into the winning to at least break even with their own pocket money. lets take the case for Yang Ching Shun who i believe went to the USA a few months ago, he did have an interpreter with him but never got any big action, why? well not every international pool players can give balls handicapped to fellow international pool players, they can give no. of games ahead but not used to give balls handicap. unlike the Filipinos they used to give balls handicap to fellow Filipino and International pool players, and they still manage to win convincingly.
we have let Chang Jun Lin and Ko Pin Yi played in our local pool hall here in the Philippines, just imagine what are the results they both lost. they cant play in worse pool table condition, i think Jay to attest to that.
3. i think there would no longer be any world 10 ball championship here, no news about it.
