I'm sure versions of this are already out there, but this is a game that I like to practice either by myself or with a partner.
Rack all 15 balls and break. Any ball made on the break gets spotted, but you get to keep shooting. All balls are worth 1 point.
Points can only be made by shooting combinations, billiards, caroms, or banks (all shots must be called and made cleanly) and you can't shoot the same type of shot in a row. So if you combo for a point, you can't combo the next point.
Any foul (not hitting a rail, ball going off the table, scratch, etc.) will result in a loss of point, and ball in hand behind the line. A ball will also be spotted.
You can then play to a designated number of points.
Fun little game that I think increases creativity, and lets you try shots that you may not otherwise be comfortable with in another game.
