That kid is going to be a World Dominator!!!!! That stuff was sick!! Thanks for sharing. I have never heard of him until now.

I don't think he has the right style or temperament to really dominate, but he's certainly bloody fun to watch.

Sick. Absolutely sick! I predicted several years ago that this kid was going to make a grand entrance to the pro ranks of snooker, and indeed he has.

This kid is really aggressive. I just watched a match between him and Ronnie(2012) and he shot at almost everything. It paid off on some but it cost him on others. I think he will be a force to be reckoned with in a few years.....if he becomes more mature in his playing style.
 
He really remindse of a young Jimmy White. Some pretty amazing shots. Thanks for the link!
 
LOL wow anyone else watch that and think it would be great to throw Efren and him on a 10 proam :thumbup: Not sure what they would play, but it still would be a battle of the magicians :D

I do the same thing sometimes. Obviously it's harder to make the ball, but is a comparable long draw shot easier in snooker cuz of the smaller/lighter balls, or harder cuz of the increased distance?

That shot is amazing (and very deserving to be prominently placed in a compilation like this one), not because of the cue power itself, but more for something that most pool players watching it HAVE NO CLUE why this particular shot is so difficult. And that's because *any* ball shot down the rail on a snooker table is exponentially more difficult than on a pool table, because the snooker pockets are designed -- with their rounded corners -- to spit out a ball that isn't hit perfect. (Pool tables, on the other hand, "have the benefit" of chiseled pockets, that offer leeway in how you can hit the ball down the rail -- you can hit the chiseled face directly, or you can lightly graze the rail on the way down to the pocket.)

Normally, in snooker, you have to hit balls gently down the rail if you want any chance of them being coaxed in. And that's what you'll see most snooker pros do. The fact that Judd absolutely SMASHED that ball down the rail -- and potted it, nevermind the draw he put on the cue ball -- is a testament to the accuracy behind his cueing power.

Style is relative. His style can definitely allow him to dominate if he masters that style.

If you take the best traditional player and pit them against someone like Trump (who, let's assume masters that super aggressive style), Trump would never lose.

Just look at Tiger Woods. He basically did just that to golf. No one tore up courses like he did (shooting 17-under at the Masters). He mastered that art of super accurate aggression.

Trump may not have that accuracy down yet -- but that doesn't mean he won't and based on his upbringing, I wouldn't bet against it.

If you think potting balls down the cushion is difficult in snooker, you should try it at English 8 ball. :eek:

I would. I'd say Trump's a little too brittle to be a consistent winner. He's probably the best 'single ball' potter I've ever seen, but grinders will find a way to subdue him.
