i bought this cue 20 years ago. It is a cocobolo, 19 oz, 13mm tips, both shafts from Bob Frey. Last year, he completely refinished it for me, but I haven't used it other than a few racks at home. I am so conditioned to a high end predator that I have, that I never was able to go back to the Frey, much to my chagrin, since I won a lot with that cue. I would rate the present condition as 100%, and challenge anyone to refute. Selling for $450.00, my loss, your gain. These cues hit real good!

I'm still confused about how to communicate with members. In forum rules, I read that members can private message each other possibly. If that is a way to "e-mail" I will try to send pix that way, since rules did state that members e-mail addresses are not the norm???? Also, if you didn't get my first reply, joint is a true sneaky pete, not a steel joint, etc. Hope we can connect as I meant what I said about cue, it is in brand new condition after refinishing by Bob Frey.

bump for a great hitting cue in like new condition. pm me with your e-mail address and I'll send pics. $400.00 is a steal for this cue with 2 shafts, The refinish alone was almost $200.00. Butt and shafts both 29", shaft #1 12.5476mm, shaft #2 13.208mm, so obviously shaft #1 was played prior to refinish, not shaft #2. I don't have a small scale, but believe cue is 19oz.

As you well know from our e-mails over the last two days, YOU said your system and mine may be incompatible, causing my sending pics to you not to work unlike our text e-mails back and forth. "Send me the pix" and you will post them????? I have had no problems sending pics to other people via e-mail as I told you. Why are you coming on the back of my latest bump with this disinformatiion within minutes of my latest bump? Is this simply an attempt to discourage others from contacting me? Leaves a REAL bad taste in the mouth to be polite.
 
Several of us post pics for people and often offer to do so. I am currently hosting numerous cue pics for people that I simply made the same offer to.

I see no disinformation, it would in fact help your sale.

He offered it as a kindness to actually help your sale and nothing else.

Well, to be honest, I did not realize that you were the person that I had been having the difficulties with on the email pix issue. We have been conversing via email, and your screen name doesn't show there. We were discussing a Scruggs sneaky, not a Frey.

Joe is one of the good guys on this site. One of the few that I would buy a cue from sight unseen. You should be thankful for his generous offer.......

First things first, when you posted after I bumped my Frey cue thread, I was just about to try your suggestion about photobucket. And yes, you and I were talking about a Scruggs sneaky. As you'll recall, both you and I were confounded about me being able to e-mail pics to many others, but for some reason (you suggested perhaps our systems weren't compatable...) I could only e-mail you text no problem but the minute I tried sending both pics and specs I got "delivery failed". I believe you had trouble sending me something too. Please accept my apology. If I can't use photobucket, perhaps I'll try to ask member chopdoc if I again can't get through to you. I guess my lack of computer savvy is biting me in the butt, along with confusing one sale with another.

First things first. Please accept my apology. Yes, we were discussing a Scruggs and both you and I were confounded about how we could send e-mails back and forth with just text, but the minute I tried to send you specs and pics, I got "delivery failed" again and again. As I told you, I have sent many pics and text to various members via e-mail. I was just starting to look into your suggestion of photobucket after I bumped my Frey post when I saw your immediate reply suggesting pix would help with a sale. You said that you even had trouble responding to me on your last attempt to contact me and thought that perhaps our systems weren't compatible. If I continue having trouble reaching you, I'll try to ask another member like CHOPDOC who came to your defense after my mistaken anger. I guess my lack of computer savvy is starting to bite me in the butt along with confusing one sale with another. If this seems long-winded, I just wanted to clear the air for all to be able to understand.
