I had the honor of meeting Mr. Brett this evening. I even got to take a lesson from him. I enjoyed chatting and working with Lee...even if he is a Liverpool fan! ;)

Thanks for working with me! See ya tomorrow!

I'm jealous...care to give more details? What you worked on, how this helped your game, etc.?

He told me to lay off two weeks then quit! ;)

He reinforced what I had read in his book and pointed out a few points I was missing in my preshot routine. He also elaborated on the mental side of the game a bit. It was a pleasure working with him for sure!

See for yourself how it helped me - click here

I am in the bottom half of the bracket. My losses were hill hill to Mark Dimick after getting down 3-0. Had I not been too busy patting myself on the back for a great comeback I might have made the straight in 9 ball I missed in the hill hill game. My second loss came at the hands of Chip Compton. Every game started out with a series of push outs and safeties. Against Mr. Compton I was completely unarmed! He beat me 7-1.

Sitting in my practice room with your dvd loaded. Next up a few hours of good practice time!

Mark pulled off the upset this afternoon btw! Hill hill win over Chip! I wish I had gotten to see it but I enjoyed seeing my son sky over bigger kids to win headers!

Make sure you come back to see us sometime Lee! It was a pleasure!

Thanks Robert!

You know the story....even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every once in a while!

My congrats to you, Ken. I also think Lee's video is worth every penny spent on it.

Blind Squirrel

Ken,
You can qote the blind squirrel if you would like, but your recent tourny play has been impressive. Not just a one-time experience. I would have to say that your hard work and table time are paying off. You are giving me hope. Now I all I have to do is find more table time. Congrats on finishing 3rd in a tough field of competitors.

You probably shouldn't "Idolize" any Pro Billiards player? It's between the "ears" It cant' be taught. Sure, there are certain techniques that can be schooled to an underling...at the end of the day...you got it...or you don't?

You can watch Efren Reyes or Mika Immonen all day long...get all the personable instruction you want.

It doesn't matter...gotta hoe your row.

I wouldn't use the word idolize but I definitely respect what Mr. Brett is doing.

I agree you have gotta hoe your own but only a fool would ignore how a master performs his craft.

Couldn't agree more! Also, Mr. Brett has a talent for passing his pool knowledge on that is above many others.

Although I simply don't have the needed hand-eye coordination needed to reach the upper ranks of players, I do enjoy any improvements I can make. Lee Brett's video has helped me improve.

I didn't get to see a lick of it but saw an update from time to time, very impressive!

Congrats, Ken... looks like you're hittin' 'em real well! If I ever have the gumption to dust off my cue case again you'll have to spot me a fizzy soft drink and give up money odds.
