omen j/b and gilbet j/b are the pretties j/b cues i've ever seen. i love the way they add more jump handle to their j/b cues. and pete omen always seem to use the pretties woods i've ever seen for the forearm too.
i've only actually seen 1 in person but from the few times i got to use it i can tell you this. it'd be a damn good playing cue!!! his taper is perfect for jumping and playing. could be a little thicker for breaking but honestly he did the right thing leaving it the way he does so you can play with it too
Yeah they do. I sold one for Larry Nevel on here several years back and it played very good too. His was a playing cue but it looked exactly like the cocobolo/maple jump breaks but just didn't break down into three pieces. I have me an Olney playing cue and Olney jump cue that go with me everywhere but sold a poison jb and just would like to pick up something to break with that I can get used to.
there've been a couple really hot ones selling on here lately but they've all been longer than 58". imo slightly shorter cues play better. i've done my share of trying to get used to longer cues and i just can't do it.
Yeah I knew he made them like .25 I believe longer on the shafts.
Hey i know a guy in my town that has one i'll see if he wants to sell it ..
Still glad you sold me the first one. I now have a matching set of Omens. Best of luck in your search.
I have 1 in mint condition, completely restored by Steve Klein, that I would sell for $450 shippped + Paypal fees.
