Meaning if you have a part of your pool game that is where you mess up at what is it? And how are you trying to improve it? The weak points of your game need to be addressed before you have a total package pool game! Thanks for your input.

Psr

When I start running through a rack I break my PSR and miss easy balls or get out of line. I work on it for a little while whenever I practice.

Tell me yours and I'll tell you mine. ;)

Power draw shots. Length of the table with no angle. Tend to jimmy the wrist and poke it (making it but no action) so I stay mostly up table instead of bringing my rock down table. Other than that I say my game is pretty well rounded. When Im stroking it good I have no fear but If my opponent can fire back if I miss then I will op for different positional play.

Making the game more complicated than it needs to be. I notice if I don't keep it in check I try to over-finesse the cue ball, try to get pin point perfect leave.

I correct this by using natural angles, worrying more about leaving myself on the right side of the line for my leave instead of trying for the perfect leave and limiting how much I try to move the rock. Oh yea, I try to quit thinking so much!:)

And above all else, I remember that I do this because it is fun for me. (it keeps me in the right frame of mind)

One word should do it: CONSISTENCY. I really feel that encompasses many different aspects of the game.

Tunnel vision.... I make a plan and form a pattern and while I will vary what I have todo to stay in the pattern I have a hard time changing the destination pockets...

Playing on barboxes and generous 8 and 9fters recovery was never an issue so packages came easy. Moving to diamond 9fters with tournament pockets controlling the table has more to do with compromise and reassessment than it does with recovery shots....

Staying on and switching to a proper angle by reassessment trumps being able to come with recovery shots time after time because eventually the equipment is going to break you down if you aren't playing the game as simply as possible......

Sometimes, but not always, it's a lack of concentration.
A couple of months ago I was playing eight-ball on a bar box in this little place where all the barmaids were topless.
I was standing there, waiting my turn to shoot, when one of the girls walks up from behind me, presses herself against my backside, and whispers in my ear, "Would you like something to drink?"
Well, as you know, if there's one thing that really turns my stomach it's bare tits on my back, so I spin around and stutter, "I'll have a Slippery Nipple." She gives me an odd look and walks away.
Needless to say, I was so taken aback by the whole experience I couldn't shoot a lick for the rest of the night.
I think concentration is very important when playing pool.

Hey Tramp,
I would not be able to play for longer than that night! Wow! Why does this always happen to you? What about me! Where is this place again?

My problem is not having the right bills ,for change, after winning.

I have been improving by trying to carry the bills needed.

There's a big problem when a guy hands you a $70 dollar bill and you do not have change after winning a race for $40.

Having a $30 bill is a life saver!!! Lmao!

Was your spin around a pirouette?

I'll have a double.

The Slippery Nipple is a layered cocktail shooter most commonly composed of Baileys Irish Cream and Sambuca.

This thread was intended to help pool players improve their pool game by open discussion on the weak points in their pool game! But I guess you must be a pool shark and do not need to learn anything to help your game. A laugh never does hurt anyone though. Everyone has their own opinion, and it must be respected. Thank you for your input.
