Trade :: New Bushka Style Lee Pepper

I've a brand new Lee Peppers cue for Trade. Just received this cue and since I waited about 16 months for the cue I decided to shoot a set of balls with this cue. Cue never left home, shot a set of balls right at home so the only sign it's even used is the chalk I have on the tip. I could've scuffed it off but I figured it wasn't necessary.

Cue is a short splice blank from John Davis(from LP himself) with Bushka rings at all position. No ivory at all on this cue so anything white you see is a substitute.

Specs of Cue:

Weight: approx. 19oz (don't have a scale but that's the weight I ordered for)
Shaft 1: 13mm
Shaft 2: Read next paragraph
Tip: Milkdud
Ferrule: Melamine
Joint: Black Phenolic
Pin: 3/8 x 10 stainless steel

According to Lee Peppers' post below he will build a second shaft for new owner for free! So essentially this cue is a 2 shaft deal, however please note that I will not be responsible for the 2nd shaft as that will be a direct deal between new owner and Lee.

Am looking to trade as I know the market is terribly soft for any decent sale now and I don't quite wanna take a lost on something I've parked money for so long. I'd like to see if there's anything else out there that might appeal to me be it Case or Cue. Willing to add cash if the cue/case is right otherwise I'd rather it be a straight cashless trade. I've about $X in this cue plus 16months of wait, so for guys who's trading please be fair..I'm keen, not desperate. Thanks.

Please note that shipping would be international to China. For your reference It'd cost $45 to ship cues to me. If international trade don't sit well with you and you have something I really want then I'll figure a way to have the trade done conus but for convenience sake I'd rather pick the latter. I'll ship cue with original packaging from Lee Peppers as pictured but with additional protection as original packaging has slight abuse during transportation.

Any pictures please feel free to email me @ jive.ong@gmail.com. Thanks!

I want to clear one thing up.

The cue took 11 months to build after the design was finalized.

To sweeten the pot, I will build the next owner a second shaft for FREE. New owner... please contact me once the cue is received from Jive.

PS... My last name has an "S" at the end

Good luck with the sale

What is a short splice? Is it a full splice blank with a second maple splice, as many ebony/maple John Davis blanks on superiorcues.com?

Very nice cue indeed, i dont know why you decide to part with it after a long time waiting.

Lots of interesting trade offers so far, I'm gonna decide on something within the new few days so please keep them offers coming.

Also note that with exception to fancy Mezz cues I'm only looking to trade for a Custom.

Art, I sold the murrell quite a while back in China.

Ctran, PM me if you wanna know the difference i'll explain to you.

Lee, thanks for the gesture and noted on your surname.

Great looking cue from Lee! Definitely worth the money considering the aesthetics and the work put into the cue.

Jive's a real stand-up guy to deal with for sure ;)

What is wrong with this market!!!
That blank is worth a few hundred bucks unfinished. With all that ringwork, points, veneers, no wonder cue makers getting out. I have a cue already in transit I just bought and I'm tempted!!!
Someone grab this cue !!!

Definitely, I too find it very tempting, but I pulled the trigger on a BCM cue, with a view of trying out his cue and will ask him to make me a John Davis conversion later. Furthermore, I am playing with a Sugartree, which I will move into my museum, but I have a spare 3rd shaft I need to use, and the BCM cue fits the shaft perfectly

Thanks for all the kind words guys really appreciate it.

Might I add that shaft is Unpeeled. I'm sure Lee would be more than happy to Peel the 2nd shaft for anyone who wants it done :)

I'll be pulling the trigger in a few days time as I've already received quite a few interesting offers and am waiting for a few more pics and specs.

Am particularly interested in these cues but not restricted to these only:

- Lambros
- Blackcreek
- Barnhart
- Sly
- Omen
- Wes Hunter
- Darrin Hill

Willing to add up to $500 for a good cue.
