Shooters Pool, a new pool simulator

I can't check the online box, it's not selectable for me.

If you are trying to modify an existing profile to make it online, it cannot be done, and the check box is disabled. If you are creating a new one it should be selectable, otherwise it can be a bug, but it doesn´t happend in any of the four very different computers I have here.

An issue may be that the default settings are at all high. Maybe set to Low or Medium at first setup.

Yeah, I have plans to make it autoconfigurable. In the readme file there are some advices about what you should configure (balls texture for example, they are very big, set to High or Medium).

Okay, I have downloaded this and installed it. Clicked on the desktop icon and it throws up a error and wont run. I clicked the box that is supposed to send you the info of why it didn't work. I am running a Toshiba Satellite laptop with windows 7.

Any ideas?

The information the game has sent is corrupted, can you do it again?
You can do that or just press Ctrl+c over the message error and paste here with Ctrl+v.

When I get home I will take a screen shot of the error and post it here for ya.

How about when I get home I will take a screen shot of the error and post it here for ya. Will that work or do you need me to do the Ctrl+c thing as well?

A screenshot will work, but Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v is faster, isn't is?

Error message

After downloading and installing I got the following error message (click Yes to send to developer)

Error compiling vertex shader......

Note: Can we post a photo (.jpeg) direct from our computer in an AZ post? It asks me for a URL as though it needs to come from a hosting service.

it isn't necessary, I see the error message here ;)
Your gfx card doesn't support some of the shaders of the game. I will see if I can solve it but this one is not easy...

Edit: Also I see your gfx card only supports Opengl 2.0.1, so you will get more shader errors... you can try to update your gfx card drivers.

I'll give that a shot when I get home. Thanks.

Apparently it's fully upgraded, at least thats what it said when I tried to update it. I will try again sometime in the near future. Best of luck on you project, sounds like it will be fun.

Wow, that's gorgeous.

I like it alot, visually and game play. Very nice.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it

I see few people creating online accounts. Do you have any problem? It's the only way to play online challenges and participate in the contest...

Nah, not really. I didn't use any personal information and used a secondary email. So no biggie.

But I do like it alot, I was quite surprised to see the quality, frame rate and overall speed. Very smooth.

Very nice work! Physics are very good, my only real complaint is that it is hard to control the power of a shot with the pull/push of the mouse.

I agree with Coach Ditka. It is a lil hard but with a little practice it will probably be easier.Very good job so far and I wouldn;t mind seeing 8,9,and 10 options either.

You have to practice it a little (doing warm-up strokes like in real life is the key ;)), and find the adequate sensibility configuration (I use around 20%, you can configure it with '+' and '-')
