Yes, it will be nice when we aren't "grounded" anymore. LOL Have you had a chance to take a look at our site? We are looking for all the feedback we can get. We really want to be a great source for info, and give the players and fans what they want. We appreciate it if you take a look and let us know what you think!! :grin:

Only suggestion I have is to allow a rating feature to so we can get an idea of what kind of room it is...action room, more bar than pool, etc.
Maybe even click on a room name to view feedback from those who have visited that particular room...

Thank you for your input! We are working on putting together a rating system. Still trying to decide what type of format would work best. Also, as we add more members, we'll be adding features so people can give ratings, and feedback for locations. We'll keep everyone updated on new features such as these, so keep checking back with us! Thanks again for your feedback! This is what will help us make the best app and website we can!

I looked through my area in your directory. Unfortunately, several establishments listed have been out of business for years, ie: Fat Boy Billiards, Faribo Billiards, Rack em Up Billiards and others.

Dayton Billiards in Dayton, OH sells tables and supplies, but it is not a place where you can play pool as listed on your site.
It appears this is just a listing of bars that might have pool tables in them? How are we to give feedback on listings? I noticed at least one of the listings no longer exists and another near me is a coffee shop (with no tables). There are other bars with tables that are not on the list.

As we've said, we are trying to be as thorough as possible, but the information available to us to compile these lists is often outdated as well. We've tried to filter it the best we can, but of course, some places have slipped through the cracks. We encourage users to let us know about rooms that have closed, don't have pool tables, or rooms that need to be added.

A couple of suggestions...get rid of the light green font. It is impossible to read. Also, Seyberts, in Coldwater MI is not a poolroom. It is a billiard supply store only. They, of course, have tables to sell that are setup to be able to play on, for customers.

In Rhode Island, Blaze's in West Warwick no loger exists, he has been shut down for over a year and has yet to find a new place. There is also Biki's Gathering spot in Warwick that has just expanded to add a room specifically for pool attached to their bar.

While your effort is appreciated, you should have personally called each establishment you list on your website to verify they are still in business, and that they are actually places for playing pool, as opposed to suppliers. That would have probably been much less effort than publishing the entire list, and have members here tell you that rooms they know have been closed for years are on your list.

We are focusing on the U.S. for now. If someone creates a database with a list of rooms, we would be more than happy to build the European version of our app. It's quite a task though, and we simply don't have the time right now to pull off that venture. Quite possibly in the future though! Thanks for your interest, and we appreciate the feedback!
We update our servers once a month, and it's quite a task to update state-by-state. We appreciate all of the feedback we get towards the app, and are working hard everyday to make sure that we provide up-to-date information. We did our best to filter the lists and make sure the info was accurate, but we are human, nonetheless. We appreciate users providing us information and updates so we can add or remove rooms as needed. Keep in mind, it is estimated that over 6,000 pool halls and bars will close down in the U.S. during 2013....so this is a never-ending task of just updating room listings. Please bare with us while we work out the kinks. Thanks for your support and for your feedback!

Dee's Diner and Billiards in Huntsville Al., is only Dee's Diner now took the lady pool table out about 6 months ago. Site looks good and very helpful seeing I just moved back into the area.
