That is one of my favorite cues, wish I could play to its potential....:grin:Please tell the entire story on that cue, it plays incredible. One of the best playing cues I have hit a ball with. RH cues play great, but that one plays incredible!

I cant remember the exact date but it was at the DCC when it was still at the Executive, maybe two or 3 years before it moved was when I got that cue. Rick had made me a couple cues and I was suppose to pick one up from him at the tournament. If I remember right, he didnt get the cue done but he did have a couple other cues with him, one being his playing cue. I knew he had only made a couple cues like that and one was for George Breedlove. I offered to buy it on the spot but he was still in the tournament at the time. Being the wheeler dealer he is he said he would sell it but needed to finish the tournament at least, which was fine with me. I think thats the year he might have got 9th in the 9 ball.
Anyway, I end up with the cue and take it back to the DCC with me the next year...or maybe year after next. While in Ricks room I see a cue that I really like that belongs to the guy staying with him. I of course had to have it so I traded Ricks old playing cue and either another cue and cash or something. A year or so goes by and I thought about getting the cue back but it had already been sold. It ended up changing hands a few times in multiple states and I finally got it back from a guy out west. It still has the Moori original tips that Rick put on it when he played with it. The cue I traded it for is another story....:wink2:
