Post your runouts

I thought it may be fun to have a thread where members post videos of their runouts and show your skills. It would be nice to put faces to names (in most cases ).

It can be 9-ball, 10-ball, 8-ball, 14.1 or snooker

Here is my first contribution to this thread. I played a bad shot on the 2 and got help from the 6 ball :embarrassed2:. Sorry for the bad quality too, it was taken with my laptop webcam as it is all I have at the moment..

Enjoy.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRAO3Dr5HZE&feature=g-upl

The battery in my video camera died before I could get a break-and-run recorded................twice :embarrassed2:!!!

Undercloaked...That was a nice video. How many different camera angles did you use? I thought I saw four. Were they all running at the same time? I liked the way you edited it together, moving from camera angle to camera angle, in real time. It's a lot easier to do that now, than when that video was made, I bet. Nice run too. I spent some time recently with a friend of yours in Blue Eye. He has a beautiful Diamond in his house on the lake!

Scott, would that have been Al? :)

I didn't shoot the video. The guy running the recordings was a professional and had a studio in Springfield. I seem to recall 3 cameras but there may have been a fourth. They were all running and recording concurrently. If you watch that video again, you can see that fellow sitting behind some of his equipment by the front table. He made each of the tournament players their own personalized copy in either VHS or Beta. My copy was Beta and ... (well that's a long story involving an ex-wife)... anyway, I don't have it so I borrowed Darren Everett's copy to transfer to DVD. Given the time and degradation oh his copy, it didn't turn out too terrible.

I think I uploaded a total of four clips from that video.

Thanks. That was either the first or second time I ever played straight pool and I can't recall playing any since. The other time was during a U.S. Open qualifier - actually got a high run of 98 in that one.

undercloaked...Yes it was Al! Beta? Wow...that really dates the video! LOL The fact that the guy was a pro videographer shows. It's a great edit job. I know it was a long time ago, but just out curiosity, is he still around Springfield? I'd love to talk to him. I've always known you shoot plenty straight! LOL I worked with another friend of yours near Ft. Leonard Wood last year (Jim).

Not sure of any runouts but, if you google my name and billiards, you may see some video. I'm sure there are plenty of me, making 2 balls then ducking. :grin-square:

Here's an older vid, first rack, after some safeties, I take on a 1-9 carom, then the next rack, my opponent breaks dry (it's alternate break in this league), and I run out from there. Got some fortunate angles on the caroms, but it all works.

Haven't posted videos from last week yet, have at least one other run out recently. :)
