All these knockers and naysayers talk big, want to try to put somebody down, saying what they can and can't do, wanting to antagonize people to play, but guess what? I was hitting balls all night last night, and it won't take me as long as I thought it would to get back in the pit.


So here I am in waiting with my cabbage and my cuestick and nowhere to go. Hope I get a response today. This is exciting to me, like a kid in a candy store.

I always hoped/figured he would come back. It's more than obvious that he loves the game, but it seemed to me that he felt jaded about it for quite a while. He doesn't need the money, he doesn't need to play to say he did something when he already did it. He enjoys playing and that's what makes him so great to watch. I'd like to see him accept that and get back, but what everybody wants for one isn't always what that one wants.

That dog's still got some fight in him and his tail's a-waggin. Nobody's gotta like that. :wink:

Who are these people and where do they come from?? Who is challenging keither?? I didnt have the time to read through the old testament that was the other Keith thread. Can somebody wrap this up into a nutshell for me??

Negotiations were supposedly underway for a game between Keith and James Davis, Jr, from Texas. I'm guessing the starting of this thread means negotiations may have fallen through.....or they are just lamenting the fact that they weren't born in the gunfighter days of pool.

Yes, Dr Dreck (James Davis jr) said I play all games with money all over the table and you read what Keith said quoted by James .

Not even sure why these guys want to play each other...

Keith doesn't even play anymore and the other guy is just another shortstop.

Neither one of them would have anything to write home about if they won.

Not Sure,

I spoke with Keith on the phone yesterday and he said he had no interest in playing any 9ball or 10ball.(Hasn't been in action in awhil he said) That if we played if would have to be a set of Full Rack Banks and a set of One Pocket...Banks is not really played here in Tx.

We are all impressed that you had the stones to accept a game from an old retired pool player.

Oh I'm not blasting anyone.

Keith is one of the best players that has ever picked up a cue.

I just don't know why he would feel the need to prove anything to anyone on the pool table.


Don't see how anything I said was blasting anyone.

If that other guy is a pro and I called him a shortstop then I apologize.
 
Any one else feeling all these Keith threads are becoming comparible to aiming threads? Notice how I didn't start a new thread to say that

OK, appreciate the answer. You didn't do anything to Keith he hasn't done to others a million times! He can take the heat.

I'll keep an eye out for you in the future, hopefully at Derby City or the Bar Championships in Reno. I hope to see you in some championship matches too. It's always fun to see young players come up the ladder and establish themselves.
