Hi Guys,
I just got my own 3c cue, a really nice Mike Lambros. Been waiting for it awhile and I told myself I will start to play 3c as soon as I get it - and now it´s here:).
I love pool and cues, pretty good playing pool I suppose and I find my way around the table. Now though I could surely need some advice, I do understand this is a big different, played for a couple of hours now - going ok, just starting I´m focusing a lot to just get the feel for the heavier balls, different stroke, getting my stance, bigger distance - more swerve, different aiming, heck even the rails are a bit different so just to be comfortable to set the bridge in place is different:-). Playing on 10 foot table.

So please do give a newbie to the game some advice if you have, as I said - played pool for many years and can string racks so I can probably understand what you say, even if I have to learn some new words for them:-).
What DVD´s do you suggest, need some real basic shots/fundamentals but I would also like the more advanced instruction, love to make the cue dance and having fun at the table is for me very important.

Thanks

Chrippa; Nice to see you've converted from pool to 3 cushion, you'll be amazed at the difference in the two games.

I invite you ro visit my website: http://mr3cushion.com I think you'll find it informative and interesting!

I have a book/DVd combo entitled, "The Concise Book of Position Play". I have sold over 2,500 copies world wide. It covers all from basic fundamentals to advanced position play. The book is 272 pages and the DVD is 80 miutes in length.

I also have the sequel DVD to the book/DVD, the title is "The Secrets EXPOSED Consecutive Scoring For a Higher Average", the DVD is over 2hrs. in length, with 150 diffrent position shots.

Hi Bill,

thanks for the info. I hope I can keep both game alive, but my friends that plays 3c warns me:-). And yes, very different indeed but still a lot in common of course. I think it will suit me good as I like to find my way around the table without pulling the jump cue out all of the time.

I was at your site before (couple of months) actually and did try to order but couldn´t go throe with it. But I do want them so if you just can PM me the total with shipping to Sweden and PP adress, I will take it all. If I´m going to learn...

I´m fortunate that I have some good 3c players at my pool hall and they will of course give me some guidance but I hope I can contact you in the future if I have some questions? Sometimes many players say so much just to confirm themselves so It´s good to get a second opinion.

It´s so much to learn in pool also and there is more than one way to go, one mans way isn´t necessary someone else's and many that gives advice kind of forgets that sometimes.

Well, thanks for the info and I´m looking forward to get the material:smile:.

Thanks
