There is no question you guys are right. I need to get going on that. I am thinking a round polystyrene about two food across with smaller polystrene making a rack so to speak like my avatar. I can spray Polyurea Hard Coat in black so it would be light weight yet tough.
I can do 4 color both sides about the size of a postcard with great stock for like $67.00 a thousand.
Maybe I can get the girl ball setters from Bonus Ball to wear T Shirts, wet of course. 4 Tips, 2 girls, trying to think where to divide the 4 tips 2 ways.
I recall one company selling tips came up with an idea of cards, size of business cards, which an installer was supposed to hand to a customer. And write tip hardness there (along with a unique tip number). I don't know whether it is a good idea to mimick this move but I feel it would not hurt if we offer a customer to try an UltraSkin and he has such a card. First, customers tend to forget what hardness (let alone which tip) they had, next, they usually forget the name of the tip so even if asked in a poolhall, "wow what a good tip you have, what's that?" they have troubles answering. A card could help promote the tips.
Robert Wong makes great sticky patches for Black King. Several players in my area already have them glued to their cue cases.
The best thing that comes directly to mind is a card printed on both sides. One side would tell about the tip. The other side would be to put the players name, type tip (hardness) and date put on. leave room for cue repair person info. When handing it to them tell them it is their "warranty" card. This would get them warm and fuzzy to have a warranty and reason to keep the card.
Thoughts?
