Jay,
I've made some awesomely 'goofy' shots myself. Sometimes shooting certain shots is almost more important than winning the game.
The room owner is saying that the red cirlce spins more & throws an object ball more.
I feel that it spins more but does not throw an object ball as much as I am used to with other cue balls.
I, like Sean, do not really like it. I guess because I don't need whatever advantage it is supposed to bring to the table. I'd just rather have the cue ball be the same as the object balls. Maybe I'm just stuck on old school.
Best Regrads & Thanks Again,
Do you ever believe in gleaning the spirit of the material you read?
But then again, it was I who gave you the loophole to jump through -- with the confusion about logo/circle possibly being "an American thing," to give you a charitable bread crumb so you can continue with your digs on Americans.
I won't do that again.

LOL. You simply could not make it up.
Lol. It must be rotten to flail and miss so often, Sean. I'm sure you'll land a punch one day. You do such a good job of knocking yourself out, I barely need raise my fists, let alone bother hitting back.
Ahhh, I see. So, a correction to your dig on Americans reveals your hidden agenda -- you're actually LOOKING for a fight, eh? Business as usual for you here on AZB. You're not going to get one from me, barfly. Go stagger back to your barstool and order another drink.

[...]
But again, where did you 'correct' me? It was a 'confirmation' rather than a 'correction', surely?

I like *all* of these! As for the last one (the draw test), I'm thinking one of these:

...along with a carefully-monitored charge might be as close to an "iron willy" as we can get? Or maybe a simple pendulum-mounted cue (e.g. suspended from ceiling) that is pulled back a very-carefully measured amount, and then let go?
Just some follow-up thoughts.
In any case, a scientific test on cueballs is long overdue.

Use one of your 3 helplines. I'd suggest "phone a friend" or "ask the audience."

Alright, as 50:50 is not an option, I'll phone a friend and ask Pidge, the OP.
Pidge: this is Chris Tarrant here on WWTBAM. Sean Fleinen is playing pool with a bit of a headache, and hasn't potted a single ball all match. He's taking out his frustrations on TheThaiger, as usual, and needs your help on a question about cue balls to help him win sixty-four bags of sand. The next voice you hear will be TheThaiger's.
Pidge: this is TheThaiger. In post #21, you'll see I made a light-hearted quip about Americans having no judgment on the subject of cue balls. In post #26, you'll see Sean Fleinen get his knickers in a twist about it, and call me a 'snob' and label me as 'wrong', despite going on to confirm that I was, in fact, correct. The question is, is Sean Fleinen obsessed with TheThaiger? The four options are a) yes, b) yes, of course, c) yes, to an unhealthy degree, and d) yes, he needs medical help (and not just aspirin).
