Decent Pool Rooms in Dallas

I asked about this last year on a previous trip, and the responses didn't make me too excited about bringing my cues to Dallas so I didn't.

Heading there again next week, will be staying in the Rockwall area and working in Mesquite. Just in case anything has changed, can anyone recommend any decent rooms in or around that area? Otherwise will be another cue-less outing for me... :)

Thanks,
Scott

Billiard Den in Richardson is nice. I recall it has something like 2 snooker tables (5x10), a half dozen bar boxes, and ten or so 9 foot tables.

Last time I was in downtown Terrell, Texas, I saw a Fast Eddies on a corner. Terrell is about 18 miles southeast of Rockwall.

Billiard Den is the way to go if you don't mind driving the freeway. Wizard's is also on the same route (just a mile or so from the Billiard Den).

Texas?

Dallas is a big city and there all Pool Halls all over the place. You might have to drive, but you can find whatever kind of Pool Hall your looking for in Dallas.

Slick Willies, Clicks, Speeds, Harwleys, and Rustys all have multiple locations as does, Fox and Hounds, Dave and Busters and Fast Eddies, take your pick.

Click's

What happened to Click's? I remember watching Dick Lane play at one on Skillman i think. Did they close or change hands?

Sorry to say Scott but:
We have no decent Pool Halls in Dallas. Just some nice bars with pool tables.

Unfortunately that's what CJ said last time I checked. Are there any places near where I'm staying that have 9' tables and are in decent areas? What about that Billiard Den place that was mentioned? Otherwise will just skip it again...

Thanks guys for the responses.

sorry to say nothing's changed in Dallas....I've been going to Arlington Rustys and Ft. Worth Rustys to play some lately. I miss the "good ole days" when I had CJ's Billiard Palace and there were some other nice places as well.

Billiard Den is ok to play at if you do bring your cue....CJ
