Help....Girl needs a cue.

I believe that all you gentlemen who were eager so help someone less fortunate did a good thing, in spite of the outcome; although I have to admit that helping someone who calls himself "mrinsatiable" to get close to a little girl by offering her gifts didn't seemed like a good idea to me.

That said, the original poster has been a member since 2005 and as a perfect iTrader record, so I want to believe that he's not a crook and that he'll prove it sometime soon.

The OP has logged on since, and last log on was 1/04/12. I sent him an PM asking for updates and/or pictures as was promised. I hope he comes through. I did not give as much as others, worst case I am out some Blue Diamond and $20, but it would be nice to know it went were it was intended to go.
 
I know Doug. He is a close friend of mine. I probably speak to him once a month since he moved back to Seattle from Dallas.

He is no crook. I will mention this thread to him.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make a huge difference by donating so selflessly to Jenny.

Due to the Holiday schedule and New year's Eve they delayed the tournament. Which is why I wasn't able to deliver her the cue and accessories til now.

She was so surprised and delighted to the point of being speechless as it was totally unexpected that strangers from across the united states was willing to be kind of to help out a complete stranger. She couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear.

Truly a random act of kindness from those in the azb community.

Here are the photos as promised.

Also is an email address as she I spoke to her and she thought this was the easiest way to contact her and for her to give thanks to those who were so generous:

21gambler needs to come forth with some facts to backup his statement too. Could be he is just jealous and trying to start something.

this could all still be on the up and up.

but given that 21Gambler said this gal in the picture isn't who mrinsatiable said she is, we really ought to wait until 21G comes back on the forum and explains.

it may just be a misunderstanding.

and I don't necessarily think the odd email address means much except maybe she picked a weird email address. Or this is a trash email account she uses, with no bad intent, to give out to strangers in situations like this. Of course, this is mere speculation.

mrinsatiable has a great track record here and, thusly, should be afforded some benefit of doubt.

but it still can all come unravelled.

I don't know about that email address or the person in the picture but I am a personal friend of Doug. I can vouch for him on this one. He wouldn't try and deceive people for a pink pool cue and case.
