I just got a wood order together and it doesnt seem like i ordered that much, but low and behold, i ended up with an order close to $1000. Its scary how easy it is to rack up that much in wood. Lol. Im sure others will agree, and some will disagree, but damn, its like going to walmart for a pack of gum and some underwear and walking out with $300 worth of crap you dont need, except i need this lumber. Lol.

Last time I went to the wood store I walked out with $150 less in my pocket and ONE piece of wood. So, yeah, it's easy to do.

If I were a cue builder, though, that one piece of wood would have made 50 cues.

Awesome purple heart.

(We have a hardwood store near me, Crosscut Hardwoods, so it's easy to get wood)

Well, you live in Oregon so I can imagine that its pretty easy to get wood anytime. Or at least, its easy to see.

I live on the bald old prairie. Seeing trees is an actual thrill for me.

It doesn't help that everyone I have bought from has decided to jack up there prices by 50% or more over the last 2 years...

Man, thats the damn truth Randy. Fortunately for me, this place cut me a good price on some wood, so i didnt get hosed this time.

I have that same problem...go in to buy a small can of finish or a bottle of CA, next thing I know, I'm cashing out for $230 sale....multiple times this has happened. One time I walked into a Woodcraft store for some wood glue and walked out with a $400 lathe setup, without any salesperson even talking to me...I use that lathe alot, and has been a great asset, but I still dont know what my reasoning was when I bought it ..just an impulse type of decsion.
It's an afliction...;)
