If pool had a Super Bowl, who would you want to play in it?

What pool players would you want to see play in a pool Super Bowl? Someday there might just be a Super Bowl for pool and pool players all over the world!

Efren Reyes vs. Earl Strickland

I know we had the 1996 Color of Money and that may have been the closest we will ever get to a pool superbowl. If that match would of have been a few years earlier like 1990 or so I think it would have been even better.

Don't we already have this in the form of the Mosconi Cup? Unless you're looking to create a match based entirely on popularity, like baseball's all stars game.

To have summit style match-up like the super bowl or world series, the closest would be to match up the winning teams of the BCAPL and APA nationals. Maybe someone hanging around in Las Vegas could approach the winning teams, wave money in their face and stream the results from TAR studios.

Pool does have a 'Super Bowl', Lock.
It's called the Derby City Classic.

How about scotch doubles, Efren & Busty vs. Earl & SVB. I think I could pick the winner before it started but it sure would be something enjoyable to watch.

It's hard to make a comparison since football is a team sport. I guess Bonus Ball will be the closest thing.

There are a lot play off games played at DCC, after all the play off games are done, with the best teams playing for the gold would be compared to the Super bowl. Only the best teams play in the Super Bowl. Did I say that right?

My two favorite games are golf and pool, Lock.
Neither are exactly TEAM sports....any attempt to make it so falls short
of the mark....even in league play, only one person can look down your cue.
The wins and losses are up to the individual player.
In pool, everybody is the star of their own team.
....and I like it like that......
....well, me and my imaginary friends...
