Old vs New Diamond Cushions?

Hello All,

I have about a 7 year old Diamond table (Red Label) and was curious what the difference is in regards to the cushions between my table and the new Blue label diamonds?

I've noticed that my diamond banks considerably different than the GC4's at my local pool hall.

Were the blue labeled tables created to address this?

Is it possible to change my cushions to the newer style?

The newer blue logo rails will bank truer with less ball hop. It is possible to have your old rails modified to the newer specs. There are a handful of qualified mechanics on here that can do the work.

Where are you located?

I'm located in Northern California. I already pinged RKC, but not sure when he'll be in my area. Do you know of any other qualified mechanics in my area?

I could do your table on my way to or from the BCAPL tournament in JULY.
Its possible maybe during april I'll be driving to Las Vegas to pick up a load of Diamonds. I'm currently doing that conversion to the 9 footers at the Golden Fleece pool room in Seattle. I've had a few of the one pocket players tell me that the recut table or "BLUE LOGO" Diamond is the best table that they've ever played on!!

The cushions today are the same as what's on your Diamond, but the sub-rails are different in design, get a hold of Gordon...he knows what to do to make the change over...I taught him how to make the changes needed on the Diamonds.
