I was honored to receive an award for playing in a Chris's Billiards 3C tournament. Dennis Dieckman ( one of the finest cue-makers in the country) donated this beautiful brand new masse cue as a sportsmanship award.

In the true spirit in which this cue was made, I am donating this cue's proceeds from the highest accepted bidder. The entire donated amount will go back into the USBA Women's/Junior's Fund. (rumor has it someone is interested in having another successful women's international tournament).

Please help women's/juniors billiards by bidding high on this one only Dieckman Masse Cue. I hope Dennis can post the specs on the cue so all the details are accurate.

Thanks Dennis!

Too bad about it being a masse cue, but I'll throw $200 at it, just to get you started, Steve.

Thanks my friend. Let's see how it goes!

My feelings are that the best way to promote all caroms games is to promote women's caroms!

I will up the bid to $300 in support of Steve's impetus to further the involvement of women in carom billiards.

Thank you Professor Illiad!

"Sing, goddess, of Achilles ruinous anger
Which brought ten thousand pains to the Achaeans,
And cast the souls of many stalwart heroes
To Hades, and their bodies to the dogs
And birds of prey." Lines 1-5

Thank you Tom! But you are not going to masse on that new table of yours...are you?:)

If I win this you bet. I'll just lay down a piece of sheet rubber.

Wish you could get that Ship Captain to push down on the Excellerator
a little further so I can get some sleep. Looks like week of 2/11 unless you can have him sail to NY before Halifax.

What's that cue weigh, like 3 pounds?

The not so blind auction stands at $600 from a friend in France. The biggest expense is in travel for these talented ladies. I will be posting names of the competitors that are interested and their approx. travel expenses. Maybe this cue auction can be the impetus for starting a
"foreign exchange player" fund drive.

Thanks to everyone!

Women's tournament

Please support women's billiards and help us to come to New York this August to play a very nice women's tournament in the Carom café! Would be nice if we can get some financial support for our air travel costs, so it will be easier to get the women to come and play the tournament! Thank you!

THIS IS DEEK-A-MON writing on TOM PALEY's computer.....while I am writing this he is cleaning the table and the balls so I can kicka his ass one more time. I am on my way back to MI from HOUSTON where I spent 8 weeks playing caroms at PARIS BIDA.....hope to see everybody at the HOPKINS SHOW.

ZEN STEVE: u duh man even if you have trouble handling my game ;>} YES INDEED pay it forward and I love the fact that the money is going to a worthwhile cause....when I left office the WIDOW's and ORPHAN's USBA FUND had approximately $2300 in the bank and with this cue money you are so generously donating that should bring it to almost $3000.....seed money....unless the USBA has robbed PETER to pay PAUL......
AS TO THE CUE: very heavy but I cannot re-call exactly......who ever gets this cue I will send them the STORY BEHIND WHY THIS CUE CAME TO BE.....who ever gets this cue I will make extras shafts for it for $100 @ and donate all money to help out with this event.......NYC.....CCB.....nxt JUL/AUG ???????

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK........and we will get in a match or two in JOISEY.....

dddddddddddddddddddddd
