Wendt Pool Tables

I'm very new to the pool world and was given a Wendt pool table. Since then I have been trying to find any information that I can on the Wendt Manufacturing Co. All I know is that they were out of Milwaukee Wisconsin and built tables until around 1940-1943. Does anybody have any other information about them? Are old Wendt pool tables worth anything? Also I was trying to see if I could figure out what style of table we have. It kind of looks like a Kling style but that’s about all I can tell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t have any pictures yet because I don’t have the table, but when I do I’ll try to upload some.

I had a difficult time finding much info. I was told that the pocket irons are the best. I was also told I should take a flier on that table if it was priced at no more than $6k I bought it with spectator chairs and corner racks (not antiques) for less than half that.
I'd love to have a Kling, but this one fits my budget.

yes, their tables are somewhat valuable as they are antiques.
i'd call them "mid-grade" - not the best, but not nearly the worst.

Jerimy Chambers has experience with Wendt tables.

Yeah I can't find much at all about the company. The table is close to yours but it only has 4 legs and is a 9 foot table. It also has the wooden track ball return system still intact, which I heard is kinda rare. Not sure if that is true or not. If I can find anymore info about Wendt I'll post it here.

Same here ... I'll share anything I find. Mine actually has a Brunswick nameplate. I think the previous owners paid Brunswick money for it and bought at the top of the market.....
I have a thread in the history sub-forum, too.
 
I have been told (Don't know if it's true) that Wendt had a shipping bay next door to Brunswick and would buy Brunswick tables, remove the nameplate and insert theirs.

My table used to be owned by the Lambrecht's (Lambrecht Butter). My parents bought their Brookfield house and I was lucky enough to be able to take the table before the sale. It's a great table to play on.

If anyone has and info on the "make/model" of my table I would appreciate and information. My pics are on my profile.
