This is a class A top of the heap case for a collector

its too nice for a carry case

I understand that the builder is famous for making$75,000
saddles for show business people

It turned out not worth his time to make pool cases,
but the ones he did make are treasures
 
Dean I wish I could afford to buy it from you. The cases that this man made are fine fine fine examples of what can be made when a TRUE master leather worker decides to build a cue case.

These cases might never reach the collectible status they deserve but I can say that in my mind if you are selling one of them for $800 it's probably worth 1600 to 2000 in comparison to a lot of what's out there. In my opinion of course.

Tell me is Mr. Webb still around, I googled and found this obituary and hope it's not him,

If so then godspeed Mr. Webb and thank you putting out a few really fine cue cases. I have to say that your work made me want to get better.
