Love it! Joe Rogan says, "everyone needs a little pool in your life" talking about Manny Paquiao's giving up playing and gambling.
A lot of good players for little money in that tournament. Over 200 players and first place is only 3k. Sounds like the promoter is lining his pockets.
Are they still playing?

Can anyone tell me why I can't get any of the video on the links provided here?
I get the AD and sound throughout the match,,but no picture, just a black screen.
I am not a computer expert, but sometimes when this happens to me, I have to use a different browser. I usually use Google Chrome, but when that fails, I go to the IE browser.
I have never had a problem with this, and I can get video everywhere else I go. Hmmm??
I am using firefox, and to be honest. I don't know how to use a different browser.lol

I can empathize with your stance. To rise to the top in a roomful of 200 world beaters and only pocket 3 dimes is a difficult feat.
What we sometimes forget about tournament productions is the cost of the tournament itself. The Tournament Director needs to be paid, as well as anybody else working to support the tournament, gate men, bouncers, et cetera. The host room is losing rent money while the tables are being occupied for the tournament, so that should be appreciated. I am not sure about the livestream costs, but the commentators that traveled there might want to be compensated for their expenses. The promoter isn't a non-profit entity, and as such, they need to turn a profit, which in the pool world is probably one of the most difficult things to do.
Without 200 players participating in this event, I doubt anybody would profit. The fact that this annual event is well run each year is a tribute to the success.![]()
