Solids or Stripes? What's the plan?

I'm taking solids, ging 5, 7, 3, 6, 4, 1, 2 and then the 8. Assuming the 1 doesn't clear the 15 in the corner, and the 1 clears the 11 in the top right corner. This pattern has natural paths (other than the 5, top right) with little cb movement and no reason to run into any balls.

I'm not so sure that the cue ball would land it a good spot to make the seven after shooting the 5, but I could be wrong. (unless you mean shooting the 7 in the side pocket.) Also, I'm thinking that the 1 does go past the 15, but I would still take the 5 first. It's hard to tell since we can't see all the angles.

Cdryden, I am also thinking that the angle on the 5 will not get the position that stumpie thinks he can. I am also thinking that if he hits it soft, the angle widens and he nudges the 3 up and then it is blocked by the 15.

I like stripes. 12 in the side, coming off the rail and hitting the 4. This opens the corner for the 13.

Next, 15. Come up for the 11, 9 and back down for the 13, 10 or 10,13. Keeping options open.

8 in the corner.
